Overdrive E-Books Print Page


We are excited to announce the arrival of Overdrivesoftware that allows you to download eBooks and audiobooks onto any type of mobile device!

Who: At this time, we provide logins for students and faculty only.

When: The Digital Library is now available! There are books for all grade levels including picture books. Students use their school computer login to access OverDrive. The first step is to download the OverDrive app. 

Where: To access OverDrive, go to or go to the Westside Library website and select "Online Books" (the GREEN star).

How Many: Patrons can check out up to 2 books for a 2 week period. EBooks will automatically return after 2 weeks, but students can turn them in earlier if they are finished reading.

Overdrive requires a log-in.  Please use the following:

User name:  Last Name (1st 8 digits only)_ID #   This is done with no spaces.

Password: YYYYMMDD  This is done with the student's birthdate, no spaces


*You must download the free app for Overdrive onto your device before beginning to read ebooks.  Only LISD students will have access to Overdrive.  They will log in by using their LISD network username and then their network password on the first screen.
