ACROSTIC POETRY:    Poems that go down vertically and the letters of a word to make a meaning or message

DIAMANTE POEMS:    In the shape of a diamond!

POETRY SPLATTER

MAGNETIC POETRY: Ever seen magnetic poetry sets? Same thing, but on the computer!

CAN YOU HAIKU?:   A haiku is three lines with 5 syllables, 7 syllables, then 5 syllables again.

THEME POETRY:    Create a poem that is in the shape of what the poem is about (Ex: Write a poem about an apple that is in the shape of an apple!)
